Sliding Folding Partition Movable Walls – Case Study 2

Sliding folding partition movable walls

A hotel in the North West contacted Chasewater with a problem. They wanted sliding folding partition movable walls replacing. The client wanted the bride and groom to be able to enter the room by just pushing the two centre panels open so that they could make a grand entrance on their special day.

Chasewater had to design a way of keeping the two doors closed while also allowing them to open easily when required. A clever ball catch system was installed between then two centre panels to stop the panels swinging open on their own. An espagnolette bolt was also installed in the passive leaf to hold it closed when only one access door is required.

The partition was finished in a Cherry veneer as can be seen in the pictures below.

Another challenge, albeit small, that was overcome and yet another happy client.

Trusted by organisations, large and small, to get the work done on a short lead time, to a high standard.

Chasewater work nation wide and our walls can be found as far north as the Shell 'Gannet' oil rig in the north sea and as far south as Guernsey.
